What is ReviewMankey?
ReviewMankey is a review management platform for Google Business Profile, Trustpilot, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and app store channels. It centralizes reviews from all your locations into a single dashboard, uses AI to draft personalized responses, routes negative reviews to incident workflows, and provides analytics across your entire portfolio.
Who is ReviewMankey designed for?
ReviewMankey is built for multi-location businesses — restaurants, hotels, healthcare groups, retail chains, and franchise networks — that need consistent, fast review responses across dozens or hundreds of locations without scaling headcount proportionally.
How long does setup take?
Most teams are live within 30 minutes. You connect your Google Business Profile or Trustpilot profile, invite team members, configure approval rules, and start responding to reviews. For enterprise accounts with 50+ locations, our onboarding team handles the rollout in a guided session.
Do I need to install anything?
No. ReviewMankey is a web application accessible from any modern browser. There is nothing to install, and no browser extension required. Your team logs in at console.reviewmankey.com.
AI Responses & Workflow
How does AI response generation work?
When a new review arrives, ReviewMankey analyzes the review text, star rating, and location context to draft a response. The AI adapts tone based on sentiment — empathetic for negative reviews, grateful for positive ones. Every draft goes into your approval queue before publishing unless you configure auto-publish rules.
Can we review and edit AI responses before they go live?
Yes. By default, every AI-generated response requires manual approval. You can configure approval rules by role, star rating, or location. For example, auto-publish 5-star responses but require manager approval for anything below 3 stars.
How do incident workflows work for negative reviews?
You define trigger rules — for example, any review at 1 or 2 stars, or reviews containing keywords like "food poisoning" or "rude staff." When triggered, ReviewMankey creates an incident, assigns it to the responsible team member, and tracks it from open through resolution with timestamps and internal notes.
Can multiple team members collaborate on reviews?
Yes. ReviewMankey supports assignments, internal notes, and activity history on every review. A location manager can draft a response, a regional director can approve it, and an operations lead can track the associated incident — all from the same review thread.
Can I customize the AI tone and response style?
Yes. You can set brand guidelines that control the AI's tone, vocabulary, and response structure. These guidelines apply across all locations or can be customized per brand within a multi-brand workspace.
Multi-Location
How many locations can one workspace manage?
There is no hard limit. Workspaces are designed to scale from a handful of locations to hundreds. Each location syncs independently, and the dashboard supports filtering, grouping, and bulk operations across your entire portfolio.
Can we manage multiple brands in one account?
Yes. Workspaces support multi-brand structures with separate response guidelines, approval chains, and escalation rules per brand. Team members can be scoped to specific brands or have cross-brand visibility depending on their role.
How does role-based access work?
ReviewMankey provides role-based permissions at the workspace, brand, and location level. Common roles include location managers (respond to their locations), regional directors (approve and oversee a region), and admins (full configuration access). Custom roles can be configured for enterprise accounts.
Platform Integrations
How does ReviewMankey connect to Google Business Profile and Trustpilot?
Google Business Profile is connected through Google's official OAuth flow. Trustpilot uses a listing-based connect flow. We request only the access needed to sync reviews, and you can disconnect at any time.
Does responding to reviews help local search rankings?
Google states that review count, score, and recency influence local prominence. While Google doesn't confirm that responses directly affect ranking, consistent engagement improves your profile's trust signals and encourages more customers to leave reviews — both of which contribute to visibility.
How quickly do responses appear on Google?
Responses published through ReviewMankey appear on Google within seconds, the same as if you posted directly from the Google Business Profile dashboard. There is no delay introduced by the platform.
Security & Data
How is my data protected?
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is controlled through role-based permissions with audit trails on all key actions — logins, response approvals, configuration changes, and data exports. We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular security assessments.
Where is data stored?
ReviewMankey infrastructure runs on secure cloud servers. Review data, response history, and account information are stored in encrypted databases with automated backups and disaster recovery procedures.
Can we export our data?
Yes. You can export reviews, responses, incident history, and analytics data at any time. Exports are available in standard formats for internal analysis, compliance audits, and leadership reporting.

Pricing & Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new workspace starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. You can connect your locations, test AI responses, and validate the workflow before committing to a paid plan.
How is pricing structured?

Can I change plans or cancel at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from the workspace billing settings. There are no long-term contracts unless you opt into an annual plan for additional savings.
